VH1 Divas is to return in 2009. It will be live on September 17th 2009 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York.Performers confirmed include Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus and Leona Lewis. the annual oestrogen fest has been on hiatus for a number of years.Past 'Divas ' include Aretha Franklin , Whitney Houston , Mariah Carey , Diana Ross , Brandy and Mary J Blige.
More artists have yet to be announced but expect much backstage bickering and sniping , multiple entourages awkward duets and strained bouts of outsinging each other.
