ONE HIT WONDER IN GREATEST HITS SHOCKER

Having troubled and topped the charts back in the halycon summer days of 2006 with " I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker " , Sandi Thom 's career has'nt exactly set the world alight. Granted the follow up single " What If I'm Right " was a guilty pleasure of mine as was " Lonely Girl ". But ask the average man on the street to name a Sandi Thom song and you'd be met with a blank faces and an response amounting to -" Isnt she that lesbian from Denmark ."
As pointless as the Greatest Hits albums released by Hilary Duff and Jamelia , surely this ill conceived package signals the big drop for Sandi. Her last album was apparently released last year.
Expect VV Brown's Best Of to be in shops in time for Christmas.

  1. One big novelty hit and then an all out campaign to keep herself in the media lasted for most of 2006, by 2007 and 2008 she couldnt sell out even the smallest venues without recruting local school children to join her onstage thus ensuring that parents and family flocked to the gig to see their little darlings onstage. She just hasnt got what it takes. Sony/BMG and herself parted ways this year so to all intents and purpose its goodbye Ms Thom as far as bothering the charts ever again is concerned
